Apply For A Student Scholarship Now!

With the generous support of the Atlas Network, we are delighted to be able to provide a number of scholarships and part scholarships for students who have not previously attended the Friedman Conference - the biggest and best pro-liberty conference in the Asia-Pacific region!

With over 300 people expected, the conference will also showcase some of the best pro-liberty speakers not just from Australia, but around the world. International speakers include John Fund from Fox News and the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, Libertarian Party Presidential candidate Austin PetersenNick Guillespe from Reason Magazine, Professor Mike Munger from Duke University, Sam Bowman from the Adam Smith Institute and Hungarian MP Zoltan Kesz! Australian speakers include Senators Bernardi, Leyonhjelm & Roberts, Professors Jeff Bennett, Sinclair Davidson, and Jason Potts; Simon Brehney from the Institute of Public Affairs, Spectator columnist Daisy Cousens, and Lorraine Findlay from Murdoch University. And this is just the start - click HERE for a full list of speakers!

The conference will also feature debates, interactive workshops, seminars by groups such as Students for a Sustainable Drug Policy, and an intensive activism training session organised in conjunction with Students for Liberty, and is an event NOT TO BE MISSED!

All scholarships will included a “Basic” conference ticket, including 2 days at conference, tea, coffee, and a 3 course Gala Dinner with 4 hour drinks package, as well as entry to the Friday Night cocktail reception (with drinks, of course!) and entry into the student activism pre-conference on the Friday. Students may also apply for a subsidy of their travel costs, however this will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Scholarships are strictly limited in number and priority shall be given to people seeking half scholarships over full scholarships, and to those living outside of Sydney.

Scholarships are only available to people who have not attended the conference previously. Students who have attended the conference  are invited to apply to be volunteers for a reduced rate by emailing events@taxpayers.org.au.
